REPLAY REVIVE® process
REVIVE® Gallery
The REPLAY REVIVE® process extends the life of a synthetic sports Field and minimises the risk of injury to players by improving grip and reducing compaction.
REVIVE® maintenance uses a specially developed single operator machine to remove contaminants from in-filled carpets, water-based carpets and polymeric surfaces. The specialist machinery we operate decompacts and rotates the contaminated infill whereupon a series of filters and vacuums separate the clean infill from the fine particles of dust, debris and broken down carpet fibre. The cleaned infill is then regraded and dressed back into the surface resulting in improved performance and player experience.  The result is reduced compaction, enhanced porosity and improved playing characteristics.  It is offered as part of a proactive Replay Service Agreement (recommended) – regular, planned maintenance massively reduces repair and replacement costs by keeping surfaces in excellent condition.
REPLAY REVIVE® PLUS+ has been specifically developed as a reactionary one-off maintenance process, ideally carried out in warm weather and on a dry surface. This deep clean has the primary objective of separating the contamination from the clean infill and removing compaction.

“…everything with Replay has been smooth and professional and we have no complaints with the services they have provided…”

Trevor Fox, The Sheffield College.

Water Based Field & Athletic Track Cleaning

Athletics track cleaned

Field & Court cleaning

AQUATRAX® is a unique process, combining pressure washing and vacuum extraction. It was first developed to remove accumulated contamination during the maintenance of polymeric athletics tracks but has since been adapted to clean dirt and algal growth from unfilled or water-based hockey surfaces.
The machine applies pressure water jets to dislodge the dirt. A vacuum extraction system then removes the dirty water to a tank on the machine so that contaminants are not returned to the surface.
AQUATRAX® has now cleaned over 4 million square metres of tracks and water-based pitches.

“Without this amazing machine we would not have managed. Even the worst areas cleaned up perfectly, great job!”

Joe Hoekstra, Mondo (official track supplier to London 2012)

AquaCourt

Designed for use on hard court areas and now adapted to clean non infill systems, the Replay AquaCourt process uses a bespoke high-volume, multi-nozzle pressure washer system to lift and remove contaminants.
Firstly, the unit cleans in multiple directions to lift and soften any silt, algae and moss from the grain of the surface. Following this, the whole surface is then cleaned using a combination of oscillating lances and flat fan high pressure spray system to turbo wash and ensure all contamination is effectively removed.

Cost-effective Service Agreements

Drag Brushing

REPLAY REVIVE® process

For peace of mind, at a fixed amount, Service Agreements are the ideal way to ensure that playing surfaces benefit from regular and planned maintenance.  With Replay you also get more enhanced service levels than with any other surface maintenance company.
Our Service Agreements can be set at intervals to suit you, and include pre and post-maintenance tests with the Fieldman testing device. This allows you to see what difference the maintenance regime is making to your playing surface and enables you to plan your maintenance regime far more effectively. To get started, contact us for a free site visit.

Service Agreements can include:

  • Retexturing and Repainting
  • Line Marking
  • Supply of Maintenance Machinery

“Based on their strong reputation in the sector we took out a service agreement with Replay. It protects our investment and maintains the safety and integrity of the surfaces”

Alan Horgan, Nottingham Trent University

Passport365 portal

The Replay Reportal is a secure online system that allows you to view all records produced by us in the course of a service agreement. Whilst we still continue to issue physical reports and audits, the Reportal allows you to view them all on-line at your leisure. This facility can also be used to provide one-to-one maintenance advice, but is only available with a Replay Maintenance Service Agreement.
A login and password is required so all documentation remains confidential, with updates to your records being advised as they happen.

Field Surveys

Replay are happy to carry out a free site visit to assess a field and compile a report.  Assessment involves utilising some specific tools, like the Fieldman, Depth & Free Pile Gauge mentioned above, that allow us to measure some of the more important performance properties of the surface.  All this information is logged in order to set an initial datum point for the field and includes the three important areas that can determine the quality and life expectancy of a Field:

[wp-svg-icons icon=”checkmark” wrap=”span” color=#bd1e2c] Surface Construction   [wp-svg-icons icon=”checkmark” wrap=”span” color=#bd1e2c] Surface Infill & Carpet Fibres   [wp-svg-icons icon=”checkmark” wrap=”span” color=#bd1e2c] Surface Debris & Contamination

We also include a visual check of the ancillary items such as the fence, goal posts, access etc.  We document all of this on our free, easy to follow Facility Survey Report (FSR) – stored online on the password protected ‘Replay Reportal’ for Clients to view.  From that we can specifically tailor our advice and recommendations. If the facility engages our services to carry out the maintenance recommendations the FSR is carried out on an annual basis.  Doing this allows comparison of the field’s performance properties against the initial datum point and forms the basis of ongoing maintenance.

“Replay have been great, we would have not been placed on the FA approved register without them. The team are always very helpful, very conscientious and as a contractor they are one of the nicest I’ve had the pleasure of working with.”

Dave Ludley, Braunton Academy
